@Ubertwiter sucker punches @socialscope with new beta
UberTwitter is finally out of the beta cycle and they have a few new features including dismissible ads. With the fact that you can easily tap an ad out of the way, and they’re not even that intrusive to begin with, you wonder why anyone would pay the yearly $4.99 subscription. In any case, with the free version you get all the premium features including the most recently added features such as:
Rich Facebook Posting – Optionally post your tweets directly to Facebook from your device. Pictures and location show up in your stream as rich media previews.
Bit.ly Pro – Now you can configure your own Bit.ly Pro account and track your own URL shortened links and take advantage of the advanced features that Bit.ly provides including the use of custom shortened URLs of your choosing.
Dismissible Ads – For those of you on touch screen devices with the Ad supported version, you can dismiss the ad at the bottom of the screen to give you more screen space.

BlackBerry Messenger Version 5.0.1.39 Now Available For Download In The Beta Zone
Just a quick heads up for everyone who’s not a member of the BlackBerry Beta Zone, or maybe you are and missed it. RIM just put up BlackBerry Messenger version 5.0.1.39 for download under the “Consumer” category for public testing. If you upgraded to the released version of BBM chances are you didn’t get an update notification from the Beta Zone. The latest released version is 5.0.1.38 so while the new beta isn’t a big jump, it probably has a few fixes.
